and here's why--The single biggest complaint we receive from new inspectors who have taken training on the internet or from other schools is that there is NO FOLLOW-UP after the training is completed. They try to call the school and either they don't get anyone to answer or the school won't return phone calls. Our school provides every student with the opportunity to call the instructor directly to his cell phone-where every question will be answered. We give you a 1400 page reference binder filled with information on each component of the inspection, but if you cannot find it, we encourage you to call the instructor for help. He will personally help you with information on how to write up what you found. He will help you word the report, so the clients understands your findings and in a way that will help you limit your liability. No one else offers you this kind of follow-up. The forms we provide to you will allow you to do your inspection thoroughly and the form can be tailored to your own style of inspection, so if you want to start in a different area, you can easily alter the inspection report to fit that area. Our inspection report has been used by the instructor personally for over 10 years. It is written in Microsoft Word so can easily be changed by you the inspector to fit your own system.
